I still remember the first day I walked into the LNG 102 Group 8 class. I was a bit nervous at the beginning because I just knew that there are the students are MIXED. They are from THREE different majors. It would be difficult for them to get to know each other.
But things turned out differently. I used differnt techniques with them - playing games, showing video clip from youtube (X Factor), smiling, being friend (as much as I can) with them. These help me a lot.
I am teaching 5 groups this term and I can proudly say that I enjoy teaching this group the most. I agree that when we are motivated, we tend to bring all the good things in the class as well.
Writing blog is the first activity that I introduce to this group. It will be the place for them to reflect what they learnt, to write what's in thier mind, to share experience with friends, and to be a place to use English in the real world.
I really hope my students will enjoy what I have prepared for them.

I feel good when I study LNG102. I like all activity it's funny but all activity have a lot of the knowledge. I never think to do "blog" when I do it I like it and I feel happy.

ตอบลบIn your article, you said that "to be a place to use English in the real world." i dun know how because our blogs are not have foreigner. When we contact to each other we use Thai and u said that it is not necessary to use English. if i have choices i will choose the easy one, so i will always use Thai. i think u have to fix somethings.

แกรมม่าผิดบ้าง ศัพท์มั่วบ้างคงไม่ว่ากันนะครับ แต่ที่ผมเม้นไปคือความจริง+สิ่งที่ผมคิดจริงๆ บล๊อกผมยังไม่่ค่อยมีอะไร แต่ถ้าจะให้มีไปแนะนำได้ครับ คือเกิดมาไม่เคยเขียนบล๊อกเลย Diary ก้อยังไม่่เคยเขียนเลยด้วยครับ จะให้ทำเลยก็ยังนึกไม่ค่อยออกหนะครับ
Thanks for sharing your thought here. Well, a blog is place where everyone can share thier ideas and put any interesting news for others. It would be great if people could write in English, but I don't mind if they write in Thai as long as there is "communication" going on krab.
